Worship
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
(Matthew 11:28, NIV)
When we attend the worship service, we honor God, rejoice, and rest in His presence. We can also face ourselves in His peace. Presently, many people are tired and unsure about the future. However, in prayer, praise, and the Bible message, our burdens are released, healed, and strengthened in God’s love. We want to share this blessed experience with as many people as we can. Worship is a sacred time for believers to set the foundation of faith, and constantly review their own lives through His eyes.
International Service
This service is focused on foreigners living in Japan, returnee Christians, and anyone who wants to have a fellowship with the global Christian community (no language skills needed). The worship is held in English with a Japanese translator, and weekly messages are given by our senior pastor and associate missionaries from Florida and Alaska. We welcome people from several countries. Besides the worship service, MCC provides a variety of English-speaking activities, including the Bible Study meeting, Alpha Course (introductory course for Christian faith), Vacation Bible School, Thanksgiving Party, etc.

Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is an introductory course on the Christian faith. The course was developed in England and is now used worldwide. It is a ten-week course and is held twice a year. An English speaking course is available based on demand.
Baptism Preparation Course
A four-session course for those who have accepted Jesus as their savior and are preparing for their baptism. The course is conducted on a one-on-one basis with a staff, and a participant systematically studies the basics of the Christian faith.
Bible Study/Prayer Meeting
[In English] Saturday afternoon (TBA)
These meetings are held to study the Bible in-depth and pray together. The aim is to grow as believers. It is also a mid-week meeting to refresh our Christian walk and to have a good fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ. The English-speaking Bible study and prayer meeting is usually held on Saturday afternoon. However, it is currently suspended due to Covid-19.
Fellowship Groups
We not only have a cozy fellowship after ever service, but we also keep tie to pray for each other in a small group setting after the international service on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Our Thanksgiving worship service and party is one of our major events which the members can enjoy with their family and friends.
Other Japanese fellowship groups are created based on age and gender, such as men, women, youth, and children. In addition, we have various activities, such as a drama team, worship choir, and Gospel Hula.
